Wast Water Wonder

The Lake District National Park in Cumbria is one of my favourite places to go walking and Wast Water is one of the most peaceful corners of the National Park. This scene was captured on a perfect blue sky day in September when the reflections in the lake were like a mirror. The final painting measures 40cm x 40cm and was painted in acrylic on canvas.
